Originally from Bellevue, Nebraska, Wendy is a certified birth doula and a certified postpartum doula through DONA International (www.dona.org). She is also working towards her Masters in Public Health, independently focusing on Maternal and Child Health.
A public school teacher for six years, Wendy has maintained a focus on health throughout her career and looks forward to being your labor support specialist.
Wendy and her husband Christian currently reside in Astoria, Queens, with their son Santiago, born September, 2010.
